Well, i have to go for this retreat... man i don't really like it much cos i'll be missing megalife... haiz haiz... anyway, i woke up nearly late for it.... 7:10am.... supposed to be there at 7:30.... didn't eat breakfast and just slipped on my SYNERGIZ shirt and rushed to the catholic church... well, i made it on time for the registration... haha... I got into the Priest Aaron group... anyway, to pass the time, i fished out my CD player and listened to Planetshakers full blast to keep myself company... haha!! we got on the bus at 9:30am... talk about proper planning... i was still on planetshakers throughout the whole trip... until we reached a place called St Gabriel's Primary school... since we were in Hougang, i msged Geraldine and asked if she knew the place... she didn't... was half hoping she'd bring pastor Vincent, pastor Joyce, Jeanette, Joachim, Auntie Linda, Uncle Dick, Sherron, Samuel Yuen.... etc etc to come and crash the place and get me out.... but it didn't turn out to be... me and my wild imagination... anyway, we started with some icebreaker... haha... we had to put different parts of our body on the floor... nothing else... our group just didn't care and slacked through the whole thing... haha.... after, we had a tea break... and we had more ice breaking again... stupid squirrel and tree game... there was this young facilitator... she was everything to Lorraine Tham... Daniel you know how much i hate Lorraine Tham... so i quickly took a disliking to her and carried on... during the lunch session, i quickly ate my food and went back upstairs, grabbed my bag and fished out my CD player and Bible... carried on at Romans... I was really looking forward to listening to Planetshakers... haha... after the second icebreaker, we went down to eat.... AGAIN!! are they trying to stuff us full? this time, it is lunch... the catered food were like airline food... came in a disposable tray... again, i quickly ate and went upstairs to fish out my bible and CD player... haha... I finished Romans!!! was about to carry on to Corinthians when the facilitator called... back to the program... haiz... we did something called the celebraty hats.. the group picked me... i was considered the most "Holy" person there.... GOD KNOWS I'M NOT!!! anyway, i was supposed to guess the name of the person written on my hat... failed... and we just slacked it out... after the celebraty hats, we had this "survivor" thing... each of us were set to a disability... the mute, the crippled (no hands) the lame and the blind... after that, we had a tea break AGAIN!!!! it was like feeding every hour! went down and quickly ate and went back up... to read Corinthians... wee!! but no later than five minutes, the facilitator called us to go downstairs... ugh... later corinthians... went down to see that the main coordinator was telling everyone how dirty the place was and ordered us to clean up the place... i took out the trash with Matthaias and Russell... the two used to play with me during the youth mass... soon, we did a wrap up with the group... after the wrap up with the group, we did the wrap up with the class... my catechist Agnes talked to me about me and the Christian faith... well, she obviously wanted me to stay with the catholic side... well, i told her alittle about VS net and the Christian Chruch... she said that she had been in my state before... just that when she was confused, she didn't turn to any church at all.. finally, she returned to the catholic church.. i guess that's her path that God showed her... after dinner, the usual "food on the tray thing", i went back up to read the bible... there was only 1 bar of battery left in my CD player but i didn't care... soon, the Priest came... Fr Bruno... haha... he gave a speech on confirmation... it was about strenghtening my faith and depending more on God... well, I'm a christian already but i have to admit i have much to learn... after that, we had confession... the other three priests came in and seated themselves in their cassocks around the hall... i took to praying and reading the bible before going for confession... because there was no more light, i coulden't read my bible anymore... took out the CD player and played Planetshakers again... Samuel wanted to listen... yay... but after a couple of minutes, the CD player's Battery died... ARGH!!!! nevermind.. it was only a couple of minutes before my turn... when it was my turn, i got Father Alex... man in the dark, his face sure looked funny!! well, i confessed that i sinned, i lied, cheated, stole, etc etc, and finally, i mentioned that my catholic life is wavering... he stopped me and questioned me about it... well, i told him that recently, God had receeded from me although i was praying and reading my bible... my quotations from the bible sure supported that i was indeed reading my bible... haha... well, i explained as christian as possible... i think he kind of sensed it... he told me to go home and pray and ask God which way was I to go... which road to take? there were many before me... after confession, it was about close to nine... Megalife was definetly over... and the cell group was about to end... haha.. i sat down and talked to my catechist again... didn't get very far... anyway, she told me about her life, how her kids were... getting demon possesed and all... and at nine fifteen, the buses came... man i was almost overjoyed at the sight of the buses... i could go meet the megalifers!!! immediately after the bus berthed in front of church, i hopped out and ran for the MRT.. I took it to Pasir Ris beaming all the way... at Pasir Ris interchange, i saw a Aaron and Kim, then Jocelyn and Joshua Chow, then Joshua Chan and Ben Chew and Evie and then Emeline, then Alexi, then Joeyee, then Derrick, Sherman and the whole gin gang!! GUYS I WAS REALLY HAPPY TO SEE YOU!!! I grabbed Ben Chew and Alexi like i've nevr met them in a decade... we went and trained to Simei for Burger King... Alexi, Joeyee and Abby went off first... nevermind... went to seat with Derrick and Joshua and Burger King... haha... after that, went off home... gotta get ready for what would happen the next day.... hehehe....
